South Houghton Farm

The healthy growth of a local brewery company meant that they needed to relocate their manufacturing plant. This opened up their existing site for redevelopment. We helped to develop a detailed masterplan for the site that included conversion of some of the existing stone barn structures for housing. In addition we designed twelve new homes around a courtyard that would complete the development. The new houses were all to be constructed in local stone, but with large contemporary openings and treatment to create light, airy spaces and give views out to the lush countryside.
